In just over five years, more than 300 publishers have switched to Newspack or signed on to launch soon. In the process, we’ve created a vibrant community of independent publishers and editors whose goal is to see journalism thrive in their local communities. They include venerable print publications such as the Bangor Daily News, as well as prominent digital startups including CalMatters, VT Digger, Capital B, and the Texas Tribune.
We have an active Slack community that our publishers use to communicate about best practices, events, industry news, and more. Our team shares product and company updates via bi-weekly newsletters with our publishers. We also have a bi-weekly call dedicated to showcasing the work of our publisher and partner communities — we’ll often invite guest speakers to discuss trending topics in the industry.

We’re an international group of journalists, engineers, product leaders, designers, and account managers with a penchant for digital news. Together we have more than 150 years of digital news experience, locally and nationally.
Technical account management
You can count on us to quickly address any systems or technical issues related to the platform. While most of our publishers can use Newspack without additional in-house engineering or technical support, we understand mistakes happen. That’s why we’re available to help troubleshoot technical issues of your own making and will do our best to fix them.
We’re not a custom design or development agency. However, we do provide design templates that have a great deal of flexibility and will work with you and/or an outside design shop to adapt your design to our templates.
There are generally no limits on the traffic we support up to 10M PV/MO. (If you’re above that level, we can host you on our enterprise service, at a negotiated annual rate). Storage of data over 200GB will require additional fees.

Without the Revenue Development Program, we could have tried things, but we wouldn’t have the structure or support to push us to try as much in a short period of time.

Newspack publishers in the US are eligible to apply for our Revenue Development Program. It’s a grant-funded program designed to help you optimize the use of Newspack tools to drive audience and revenue growth through hands-on training, one-on-one coaching, and peer support.
